We renovated this home for three different owners. Each brought new personality and flair that needed to be melded into the existing aesthetic.
For the first Owner, we constructed the front porch entryway, remodeled the guest bathroom, constructed the pool house and assembled the fountain.
The second owner wanted to open up the living and family rooms to create an elegant yet informal feel. We added book cases and wood panels throughout the family room to create a library feel. All the trim in the house was replaced and we created wood panels on the walls of the three story staircase and entryway for continuity. Finally, a sizable laundry room was created on the third floor.
The new owners embraced the existing style while adding details all their own. For them, we added a craft room in the attic and a wine cellar on the ground floor. They put their own spin on the pool house by installing a hand painted mosaic their son designed of all the homes they lived in. In addition to installing the mosaic, we replaced the cabinetry and freshened up the pool house with unique touches. Finally, we transformed unused outdoor space into an office guest house. Its Caribbean style blends beautifully with the pool house. Cypress panels and beams, custom milled railings and trim, and a working fireplace and wet bar make this space an owner favorite and the envy of all guests. A few additions to the landscape include a tranquil contemplation patio with a planter and statuary, bluestone walkways and guest parking.
